Lunga Memela is the Founder and Creative Director of lumela media. With almost 15 years’ experience raising the profiles of small and large-scale organisations. His passion and that of this team is deeply rooted in strategic content creation, reputation management and enhancing brands through persuasive writing, advertising, photography, and the professional management of social media, print and digital communication platforms and events – all underpinned by international marketing and public relations principles.

Lunga cut his teeth at the University of KwaZulu-Natal where he majored in Culture, Communication and Media Studies as well as Drama and Performance Studies. His Honours Degree in Media and Cultural Studies was conferred just before he launched his career and later advanced to a Masters Degree in Art, Literature and Society at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, positioning him as a public relations practitioner and young content strategist of note.
